Mentors are students who are trained to help other students. They understand the challenges of university life as an undergraduate or graduate student and can answer your questions about uOttawa services, study methods, writing techniques, and more!

Book an appointment with a writing mentor from the Academic Writing Help Centre (AWHC) to:

- Get help understanding assignment instructions;
- Learn how to make an outline and organize your ideas into paragraphs;
- Get feedback on your writing and discover tools that will help you edit your own work;
- Learn how to cite your sources properly.
You can book up to four 30-minute appointments per week. Appointments are offered to all undergrad and grad students.
